Singapore × Malaysia Journey Project Sharing Session

2025年9月20日，《左边是黄河么啊哟 右边是石崖么噢哟》陈伟才X青海个人项目在多勒仓单元正式落下帷幕，却并未真正结束。它以艺术为种子，在时空的土壤中持续发芽，生发出一系列跨越地域、媒介与文化的回响。

10月12日，大浦当代艺术馆与成都ABOUT TIME艺术空间率先作出回应，联合举办了艺术家作品分享会。同一天，大浦当代艺术馆在线上开辟出新的展陈空间，正式推出“陈伟才X青海个人项目线上作品展”，让这场源自高原的对话突破物理边界，进入更广阔的数字场域。11月1日，“2025多勒仓单元：罡子 X 马乌”作品推文发布，预示着这一艺术单元的生命力仍在延续；11月3日，乌合小众小组在美术馆拆除44天后重返多勒仓，这一行为本身更具象征意义，即是对艺术场所记忆的追寻与重构。

11月13日下午15:30分，大浦当代艺术馆与四川郎酒集团龙马郎合作，即将在青海九平方画廊举办“新加坡X马来西亚之旅分享会”，进一步拓展这场艺术对话的国际视野。11月6日至12日，大浦当代艺术馆创办人苏男初、馆长崔付利和艺术家陈伟才参加了为期一周的新加坡和马来西亚艺术考察交流活动。

这些看似独立的活动，实则是同一艺术基因在不同土壤中的生长。当高原的风再次拂过黄河与石崖，当古老的“青海花儿”余音在当代艺术空间中回荡，陈伟才的青海项目已然超越了单一展览的范畴，成为持续发酵的文化现场。它不仅在探讨艺术如何回应地方性，更在实践艺术如何从地方走向国际，如何在不同的场域间建立对话的可能性。这场始于青海的艺术实践，如今正以分享会、线上展览、国际交流等多种形式，在不同的时空维度中继续书写。它证明了真正的艺术项目从不嘎然而止，而是在结束之后，才开始它新的旅程。

On September 20, 2025, “Left is the Yellow River Oh-Wow, Right is the Stone Cliff Oh-Wow” — Chen Weicai × Qinghai Solo Projectconcluded in Dolecang, Qinghai. Yet, its ending marked not a closure but a transformation. As a seed of art sown into the soil of time and space, it continues to germinate and grow, extending its resonance across regions, media, and cultures.

On October 12, Tuff Contemporary Art Museumand ABOUT TIME Art Space, Chengdu, jointly hosted an Artist Sharing Sessionas the project’s first public response. On the same day, Tuff Contemporary Art Museum inaugurated a new online exhibition space and officially launched the “Chen Weicai × Qinghai Solo Project – Online Exhibition”, allowing this dialogue born on the plateau to transcend physical boundaries and enter a broader digital field.

On November 1, the post “2025 Dole Cang: Gangzi × Mawu”was released, signaling the continuing vitality of the project. On November 3, Wu He Xiao Zhong, an independent collective, returned to Dole Cang forty-four days after the exhibition site’s dismantling — a gesture that symbolically revisited and reconstructed the memory of the artistic space.

At 3:30 p.m. on November 13, Tuff Contemporary Art Museum, in collaboration with Sichuan Langjiu Group Longmalang, will hold the “Singapore × Malaysia Journey Sharing Session”at Nine Square Galleryin Qinghai, further expanding the international scope of this ongoing dialogue. From November 6 to 12, the museum’s founder Su Nanchu, director Cui Fuli, and artist Chen Weicaiparticipated in a week-long field study and exchange in Singapore and Malaysia.

While these events may appear independent, they are in fact branches of the same creative organism, growing in different soils. When the plateau wind once again brushes the Yellow River and the stone cliffs, and when the ancient melody of Qinghai Hua’erreverberates through contemporary art spaces, Chen Weicai’s Qinghai Projectreveals itself as more than a single exhibition — it has become a living, evolving cultural site.

It explores how art can respond to locality while also practicing how it might move from the local to the global, opening new possibilities for dialogue across places and disciplines. Originating on the Qinghai Plateau, this artistic practice continues to unfold through sharing sessions, online exhibitions, and international collaborations — proving that a true art project never simply ends, but begins anew precisely at the moment it seems to conclude.
